Before becoming a managing partner in Fisher & Byrialsen, PLLC, Ms. Byrialsen worked at the New York Legal Aid Society. At the Legal Aid Society Ms. Byrialsen handled hundreds of criminal cases, both felonies and misdemeanors. Many of these cases required not only experience in criminal law, but also knowledge of and research into civil and immigration consequences of arrests and criminal convictions. Prior to joining the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Byrialsen was the law clerk for the Honorable Gerald I. Fisher at D.C. Superiour Court.
